For 30 years, the Immigrant Home English Learning Program (IHELP) has been a vital part of the St. Louis community, empowering immigrant families through free, one-on-one, in-home and virtual English tutoring. Today, IHELP supports both adults and children in grades PreK–5, offering a unique 2-generation approach that strengthens entire families.

Many of our students face barriers to accessing traditional education—language, transportation, child care, work schedules—and IHELP meets them where they are, literally and figuratively. IHELP’s unique model is needed now more than ever! With the support of trained volunteers, we offer personalized lessons that help students gain confidence, connect with community resources, and build better futures.

Since its start in 1995, IHELP has served over 2,100 students.  And in the past year alone, IHELP served 335 students. Your support makes this work possible. Join me in donating to IHELP today and help us reach more families with life-changing education and opportunity.

Together, we can build a more inclusive, empowered community—one lesson at a time. Donate today!
